Following weeks of player requests for clarification, the Infinity Nikki development team has finally addressed concerns. Players familiar with the game recognize the turbulent rollout of Version 1.5 – many felt it was unfinished, and now the team acknowledges they rushed the launch. The consequence? Infinity Nikki postpones Version 1.6.
New Release Date for the Update
Originally scheduled for June 4th, Version 1.6 has been officially delayed to June 12th following April 28th's problematic Version 1.5 release. Meanwhile, the ongoing Bubble Season will be extended.
All current events – including Chase the Bubbles, Rainbow Album, and Where Are the Gifties? – remain active until June 12th. Stores like Pear-Pal Selected/Store: Clothing, Heartfelt Gifts, and the Shake Up Bubble Jar! top-up event will also continue operating. Weekly activities such as Starlit Pursuit, initially planned for May 20th, have been rescheduled for Version 1.6.
The developers issued apologies, citing cross-platform performance challenges (including PlayStation). They're currently optimizing gameplay systems and confirmed delayed storylines like Threads of Reunion haven't been canceled.
Beyond Version 1.6 Delays: Current Infinity Nikki Issues
Recent weeks have seen numerous bugs, quest failures, and co-op problems. As compensation, daily login rewards of 120 Diamonds and 1 Crystal will run from June 5th to June 12th.
Some players view this as a transparent attempt to recover engagement metrics after recent mistakes. Additional frustration stems from promotional outfit banners appearing immediately after apology messages.
