Nintendo Switch 2 Lists for $449, Pre-Orders Begin April 24

Nintendo has confirmed that pre-orders for the Switch 2 in the U.S. will start on April 24, 2025. The launch price remains set at $449.99, with the system launching on June 5.

The announcement was made on Nintendo's official website, which also stated that accessory prices will be adjusted from the figures shared on April 2 due to changing market conditions. The company noted that future price adjustments for any Nintendo product are also possible depending on the market.

While the standalone console price stays the same, Nintendo confirmed the Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle will remain $499.99. Launch pricing for both physical and digital versions of Mario Kart World ($79.99) and Donkey Kong Bananza ($69.99) will also hold.
