Scan Suzuki control modules for diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) using an ELM327 interface
Designed specifically for Suzuki vehicles, SZ Viewer A1 supports both proprietary protocols (K-Line and CAN bus) alongside standard OBDII protocols. The app effectively reads and clears DTCs—including extended and historical trouble codes—across multiple Suzuki control modules.
The solution also works with Japanese domestic market (JDM) Suzuki models, even those without OBDII protocol compatibility.
Requires a genuine ELM327 adapter (Bluetooth or Wi-Fi) version 1.3 or newer. Counterfeit adapters (often labeled as v2.1 or certain v1.5 units) are incompatible as they lack necessary ELM327 command support.
The older SDL protocol (5V signaling via OBDII connector pin #9) used in pre-2000 models remains unsupported due to hardware limitations with ELM327 devices.
Monitor and reset DTCs across multiple systems: powertrain, engine, transmission, ABS/ESP, airbags, climate control, body control, power steering, 4WD systems, tire pressure monitoring and more. Availability varies by vehicle configuration.
Note: During diagnostics, HVAC modules may log B1504/B150A codes from insufficient sunload sensor illumination—this doesn't indicate actual sensor failure.
