The turn-of-the-millennium setting and signature action of Warframe's 1999 expansion have certainly captured players' attention. Now, the upcoming Techrot Encore update—featuring the return of ARG band members as boss battles—has been confirmed for release on March 19th, along with several exciting additions.
Techrot Encore brings four new Protoframes into the fold: Flare, Minerva, Kaya, and Velimir II. What's more, the 60th Warframe, Temple, joins the fight accompanied by Techrot Subwoofer minions and Lizzie, a sapient guitar that truly brings down the house.
But that's not all. Veteran players can challenge themselves with two new endgame stages. In Stage Defense, you'll protect Scaldra as they hold a memorial show honoring comrades lost during the city's takeover. Meanwhile, Temporal Archimedea teams you up with Minerva and Velimir II for three consecutive randomized missions, using the Peely Pix system to refresh modifiers each round.
Frame JobOne of the most meaningful additions comes through Digital Extremes' collaboration with Make-A-Wish. Honoring a commitment to James Conlin, they've introduced Atomicycle—a new racing minigame available in the Höllvania Mall Hub’s arcade collection, Ollie's Crash Course.
Alongside these features, the ongoing buildup to Tennocon 2025 and the relaunch of the upgraded Warframe Companion App open beta offer even more reasons for fans to be excited this March.
