Tinkatink Debuts in Pokémon Go for Pokémon Horizons: Season 2 Celebration

by Simon May 17,2025

The Horizons Celebration event is making a grand return to Pokémon Go, and it's set to dazzle with the debut of Tinkatink and its evolutions, Tinkatuff and Tinkaton. From April 16th to 22nd, players can experience the smashing charm of these pink, hammer-wielding Pokémon. Tinkaton is famous for its rock-throwing antics against Corviknight, and now you can evolve your own Tinkatink to its final form with 125 Candy collected during the event.

Adding to the excitement, a costumed Floragato sporting Liko's pin will be appearing in the wild, hatching from Eggs, and participating in Raids. Keep an eye out for its Shiny variant as well. Other Pokémon like Pikachu wearing Cap's hat and Charcadet may also make appearances, enhancing the event's diversity.

ytAlongside Tinkatink, other beloved Paldea Pokémon such as Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Pawmi will be roaming the wild. Seven km Eggs will offer chances to hatch familiar Pokémon like Hatenna and Elekid, with the possibility of hatching Tinkatink as well. Don't miss out on the fun of snapshot surprises, where Horizons characters and their Pokémon might photobomb your pictures.

For those eager to battle, Pikachu in Cap's hat will feature a special move, Volt Tackle. Raids will be packed with a variety of Pokémon including Charizard, Metagross, Alolan Muk, and more Floragato. Team Go Rocket balloons will appear more frequently, and Egg hatch distances will be reduced by half, boosting your chances of encountering Shiny Pokémon and earning more Stardust.

Engage in Field Research and take advantage of both free and paid Timed Research opportunities to earn extra rewards, including an exclusive avatar pose. To prepare for the event, consider purchasing the Celebration Event Ultra Ticket Box from the Pokémon Go Web Store for just $4.99.
