ZiMAD is inviting you on a heartfelt journey back to the early 2010s with its latest crossover. ZiMAD’s Magic Jigsaw Puzzles has partnered with ZeptoLab to introduce Om Nom, the beloved green candy enthusiast from the 2010 sensation Cut the Rope.
The ZeptoLab × Magic Jigsaw Puzzles collaboration will run through the end of the year, featuring limited-time puzzle packs that blend cozy gameplay with the nostalgic charm of early 2010s mobile gaming.
What’s included in the Magic Jigsaw Puzzles x Om Nom collaboration?
At launch, you’ll explore two themed collections: Om Nom Adventures and Happy B-Day, Om Nom. Each one captures the playful spirit of Om Nom’s world in a fresh, puzzle-based format.
The crossover’s theme, Nomstalgia, is ZiMAD’s tribute to turning every puzzle into a sweet, cherished memory from the 2010s—when candy collection and star-chasing defined mobile fun.
Each puzzle pack follows Om Nom through vibrant scenes: celebrating his birthday, revisiting classic Cut the Rope environments, and joining seasonal celebrations.
The collaboration also features special in-game events and community challenges. More themed puzzle packs are planned for release throughout fall and winter, complete with new artwork and fresh challenges.
For many mobile gamers, Om Nom was one of the first characters they met on a touchscreen. Cut the Rope soared in popularity after its 2010 debut on the App Store. Around the same time, Magic Jigsaw Puzzles emerged as one of the top puzzle games on mobile.
According to Elizaveta Savenkova, CBDO at ZiMAD, the collaboration aims to unite two communities that cherish different sides of gaming: Magic Jigsaw Puzzles players who find peace in visual puzzles, and Om Nom fans who feel nostalgia for the colorful simplicity of early mobile games.
