Nightdive Studios has exciting news for fans of classic sci-fi horror: System Shock 2's modernized edition, previously known as System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition, has been renamed to System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster. This eagerly awaited remaster is not only set to launch on Windows PC via Steam and GOG, but it will also be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and for the first time, on Nintendo Switch.

Nightdive Studios will announce the release date for System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster during the Future Game Show Spring Showcase livestream on March 20, 2025, where they will also unveil a new trailer. This remaster promises to bring the chilling experience of the 1999 classic to a new generation of gamers across multiple platforms.
