Survive Shifting Tombs, Alter Desert

RuneScape has unveiled an exciting new chapter with their Dev's Diary for April, introducing the latest update, "Return to the Desert: Pharaoh's Folly." This thrilling quest is available now and will run until April 28th. In this adventure, players must navigate the treacherous Shifting Tombs and alter the fate of the desert with the help of familiar characters Leela and Ozan.

Here’s the Full Scoop on the Pharaoh’s Folly in RuneScape

The situation in the Kharidian desert is heating up, with Menaphos teetering on the brink of chaos. Osman's shocking betrayal has caused the city to crumble from within, leaving its residents divided and vulnerable to the lurking presence of Amascut. Surviving the Shifting Tombs is just the beginning of the challenges that lie ahead.

Fortunately, you won't be facing these trials alone. Leela and a host of new allies, including some adorable pets, will join you on this quest. Together, you'll delve into the ancient secrets of Menaphos and unravel the mystery behind Osman's actions.

Heading Back into the Heat Again

Completing Pharaoh's Folly comes with a bounty of rewards. Players can expect to earn Thieving and Agility XP, the prestigious title "The Rabble-Rouser," and a new bracelet called Leela's Favour. This bracelet is particularly useful, allowing you to teleport across all districts of Menaphos, the Sophanem slayer dungeon, the shifting tombs, and all active soul obelisks.

However, embarking on this quest isn't for the faint-hearted. You'll need a Slayer level of 87, and you must have completed the initial quest "Beneath Scabaras' Sands" and met various requirements from the "Do No Evil" quest within Phite Club. Additionally, you'll need to have built the necessary structures from the Fort Forinthry storyline. Once these criteria are met, you can meet Leela outside the gates of Menaphos and attempt to save the city from its dire fate. If you're up for the challenge, grab RuneScape from the Google Play Store and dive into the "Return to the Desert" adventure!
