Sony Leaks Stellar Blade PC Release: New Features, Boss Fight, 25 Outfits Unveiled

by Savannah May 19,2025

The PC version of Stellar Blade is set to launch on Steam on June 11, accompanied by a suite of PC-specific features, as revealed by a trailer that was inadvertently leaked by Sony. The trailer, which was briefly published by Sony Interactive Entertainment on the PlayStation YouTube channel before being taken down, also introduced the Complete Edition of Shift Up's acclaimed PS5 action game. Despite its removal, the internet quickly preserved the trailer, which is expected to be officially released soon.

The Complete Edition of Stellar Blade will include the base game along with all the DLC released to date, available for both PS5 and PC. This announcement follows more than a year after the game's successful launch on PS5 in April 2024.

Stellar Blade on PC will boast a range of features tailored for the platform, including AI upscaling with Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 3, an unlocked framerate, support for Japanese and Chinese voiceovers, ultrawide display compatibility, enhanced environment textures, and DualSense support for haptic feedback and trigger effects.

The trailer also teased new content, including a boss battle against Mann, the Leader of the Sentinels, and 25 new costumes, which are expected to be available on PS5 as well. Additionally, a new scene at the trailer's end, where Eve releases a memory stick, has sparked speculation about a potential new ending or additional DLC for the game.

Stellar Blade Complete Edition

Stellar Blade has been a significant success for Korean developer Shift Up, generating $43 million in royalties in its last financial year. The studio anticipates that the PC version will surpass the sales of the PS5 version, which sold over 1 million copies within two months of its release. Shift Up is also considering developing another game in the franchise.

In Stellar Blade, players assume the role of Eve, fighting against unknown invaders to reclaim Earth in a fast-paced action role-playing game. The game received a 7/10 rating from IGN, praised for its action elements but critiqued for its characters, story, and some RPG mechanics. Despite these critiques, Stellar Blade quickly sold a million copies, proving its popularity among gamers.
