The Battle of Polytopia has finally unleashed the fiery Solaris tribe on mobile platforms, following their PC debut a few months ago. This blazing alter-ego of the frosty Polaris tribe is here to set the Square ablaze and turn the game's dynamics into a scorching spectacle!
The Solaris Turns Up the Heat in The Battle of Polytopia
With the new Solaris skin, the ice turns into an inferno, snow becomes ash, and tranquil lakes transform into pools of lava. Although technically the same tribe, the Solaris have now swapped their cold-hearted strategies for something far more explosive and combustible.
This update is packed with spicy lore that connects back to an eternal war, devastating entire worlds along the way. While the icy Polaris had previously encountered the mysterious Gaami, the arrival of the Ralmi now heats things up even further.
The Ralmi, fire-wielding invaders, have emerged from the depths of the earth with their sights set on conquering the Square. Their first move? Shackling the Solaris and spreading their fire magic across the land.
The Solaris' Ingenious Strategies
The Solaris have a few fiery tricks up their sleeves that change the way you navigate and strategize in the game. They possess the power to transform water into solid lava, altering the terrain and gameplay dynamics. Their units, such as the Pyro, incinerate everything around them as they move, while Ash Archers have the ability to petrify enemy troops.
For swift movement, the Steam Wagon zooms across lava rivers. If expansion is on your mind, Lava Banks allow you to generate stars by setting the terrain ablaze. Get a sneak peek at the Solaris in action in The Battle of Polytopia in the trailer below.
Master new skills like Heatwork for crater-building, Geothermics for powering volcanic turbines, and Explosives to keep the gameplay dramatic. Meanwhile, the Ralmi have introduced their own set of dangerous tactics, including the Tuagama Lizard and Igmina Crystals.
