Sign Up for Battlefield Labs and Early Access to Battlefield 6

by Gabriella May 30,2025

At long last, EA has unveiled Battlefield Studios and given us our first glimpse of the next Battlefield game. To help steer the future of the franchise, you can join Battlefield Labs and secure early access to Battlefield 6. Here’s how to get involved.

What is Battlefield Labs?

Battlefield 6 Concept

Battlefield Labs is a new initiative from EA designed to gather crucial feedback for the upcoming Battlefield title. As part of this program, select fans will have the chance to step into the war room and engage with early remote playtests. By providing direct input to the developers at EA’s Battlefield Studios, participants can influence the direction of the game.

Initially, EA will roll out the Battlefield Labs program with a few thousand players across Europe and North America. However, the goal is to expand the program to tens of thousands of players worldwide. The program will be accessible on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Is Battlefield Labs Different Than a Beta?

While previous Battlefield releases have included community beta tests, Battlefield Labs operates differently. Participants will gain access to work-in-progress content, which may include numerous bugs, rough edges, and potential technical glitches. Unlike a typical beta, this isn’t meant to showcase polished gameplay but rather to gather feedback on core aspects such as combat loops, map flow, and balance.

To ensure the integrity of the development process, players accepted into the program must adhere to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). Sharing information publicly will not be permitted.

How to Sign Up for Battlefield Labs and Gain Early Access to Battlefield 6

Head over to the Battlefield Labs webpage to learn more about the program and sign up for a chance to participate. To register, you’ll need to log in or create an account with EA and link it to your preferred gaming platform. Keep an eye on your queue, as you’ll have just 15 minutes to access the site once it’s your turn.

After gaining access to the sign-up page, complete the registration form and provide your email address. Be sure to monitor your inbox for updates from the official Battlefield Labs newsletter, which may include invitations for playtests if you’re selected.

EA has announced that the next Battlefield game will release during their fiscal year 2026, meaning Battlefield 6 is expected to launch before April 1, 2026.
