The Parabolic Microphone falls under the category of Optional Equipment in *Phasmophobia*, meaning it won't be automatically provided to you. To harness its ghost-detecting capabilities, you'll need to reach a specific level to unlock and buy it from the in-game Shop.
Just like other equipment in the game, the Parabolic Microphone comes in three tiers, each offering improved quality and reliability. To unlock the first tier, you must hit Level 7 and head to the shop to add it to your equipment loadout.
For those seeking the second tier, you'll need to reach Level 31 and have $3,000 ready for the upgrade. The pinnacle of this equipment, the third tier, becomes available at Level 72 and will set you back $5,000.
