Marvel Rivals has exciting new developments on the horizon, including stunning skins for Loki and Hela inspired by the Kirisaki Mountains from the Demon Days comic series by Peach Momoko. These skins bring a fresh take on the characters, blending them into the rich tapestry of Japanese folklore and mythology.
Kirisaki-themed Skins for Loki and Hela
NetEase took to Marvel Rivals’ Twitter (X) on April 21 to announce the upcoming release of new skins for Loki and Hela. Dubbed Shin Sagi-Shi for Loki and Yami no Karasu for Hela, these skins echo the aesthetic of the Kirisaki Mountains as depicted in the Demon Days series. This isn't the first time Marvel Rivals has ventured into this theme; Peni Parker’s Yatsukahagi skin was recently introduced, and more are expected based on teasers from the game's social media.
Fans can mark their calendars for April 25 at 2:00 UTC, when Loki and Hela’s new costumes will be available. While official pricing hasn't been disclosed, it's anticipated that these skins will come bundled with unique emotes, stickers, and other in-game goodies.
In addition to the skin reveal, Marvel Rivals launched Art Vision Vol. 01, a series where art developers share insights into the creative process behind the game's visuals. Art Director Dino and other design experts discussed the inspirations and foundational elements used to craft the immersive world of Marvel Rivals.
Earn Rewards By Striking A Pose!
To celebrate the launch of Season 2: Hellfire Gala, Marvel Rivals is hosting a fun online event where players can win exclusive prizes. The event involves striking a pose on welcome signs placed around the new Krakoa Map, snapping a screenshot, and sharing it on social media by retweeting or commenting on the event post.
Ten lucky participants will win an exclusive Jeff the Land Shark Hand Fan, and another ten will snag special Series 2 Fridge Magnets. The event runs until April 25, with winners being announced on April 29.
NetEase is also committed to enhancing the game's accessibility, recently introducing an experimental feature designed to reduce memory usage and boost stability.
