Leaked: Early Footage of Battlefield 6 Appears Online

by Bella Jun 03,2025
PlayLeaked footage from EA's upcoming *Battlefield* title has surfaced online, offering fans their first real glimpse into the game following closed playtests. According to *TheGamer*, a Twitch streamer named anto\_merguezz inadvertently shared gameplay clips during a recent session. Although the original stream is no longer available, a recording of the footage has made its way onto various platforms, primarily circulating through Reddit.

The clip provides a tantalizing look at the game's modern setting, aligning with previous hints from Vince Zampella. Unlike earlier Battlefield titles set in historical or futuristic contexts, this installment appears to focus on contemporary warfare. Viewers are treated to intense firefights and glimpses of destructible environments, sparking positive reactions among the community—a refreshing change after the lukewarm response to Battlefield 2042 upon release.

Last month, EA confirmed the game would reintroduce a traditional, single-player campaign, addressing one of the key criticisms of its predecessor. This development has been warmly received by fans eager for a more balanced experience.

EA plans to release the game in fiscal 2026, roughly between April 2025 and March 2026. Given the buzz surrounding the leak, it’s likely we'll see more official content soon as the company gears up for launch. Until then, gamers are left to speculate about what Battlefield 6 (or whatever it may be called) holds in store.

IGN has reached out to EA for further comments.
