David Koepp, the screenwriter behind the iconic 1993 Jurassic Park film, has brought a fresh element to the upcoming Jurassic World Rebirth. In an interview with Variety, Koepp revealed that he revisited Michael Crichton's original Jurassic Park novels to inspire his work on this sequel, given the absence of a new novel to adapt.
During his research, Koepp decided to incorporate a sequence from the first Jurassic Park novel that was initially left out of the 1993 movie due to space constraints. He expressed excitement about finally being able to include this scene, stating, "There was a sequence from the first novel that we’d always wanted in the original movie, but didn’t have room for. We were like, ‘Hey, we get to use that now.’"
While Koepp did not disclose the specifics of the sequence, this revelation has sparked widespread speculation among fans. Various scenes from the novel have been highlighted as potential candidates for inclusion in Jurassic World Rebirth.
