Harrison Ford remains unfazed by the critical and commercial flop of "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny," shrugging it off with a casual "s\*\*t happens." Despite the film's estimated $100 million loss at the box office, Ford expressed satisfaction with his decision to return to the iconic role. He told The Wall Street Journal Magazine that he wanted to explore another chapter in Indiana Jones's life, saying, "When [Indy] had suffered the consequences of the life that he had to live, I wanted one more chance to pick him up and shake the dust off his ass and stick him out there, bereft of some of his vigor, to see what happened. I’m still happy I made that movie."

Undeterred by the setback, Ford has now joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the upcoming film "Captain America: Brave New World." He steps into the shoes of the late William Hurt, taking on the role of Thaddeus Ross, who transforms into the Red Hulk in this new installment. Ford admitted that he joined the MCU without knowing about this transformation, as he hadn't seen the script for "Brave New World" at the time. His decision was driven by the fun he observed other actors having in the Marvel universe. "Why not? I saw enough Marvels to see actors that I admired having a good time," Ford explained. "I didn’t really know that at the end I would turn into the Red Hulk. Well, it’s like life. You only get so far in the kit until the last page of the instructions is missing."

"Captain America: Brave New World" is set to be one of the shortest entries in the MCU to date, scheduled for release on February 14. It marks the first film to feature Anthony Mackie as Captain America, succeeding Chris Evans's Steve Rogers. The movie will also introduce deep-cut characters from Marvel lore, including The Leader, fulfilling a tease from the second MCU film, "The Incredible Hulk."
