Guide: Completing Hush, My Darling Quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Embark on an intriguing side quest in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* as you journey to Miskowitz, a small village in the Kuttenberg Region west of Kuttenberg City. Prepare to utilize your blacksmithing skills to complete the quest "Hush, My Darling."

Speak with Martha

Your adventure begins at the house connected to the forge in the southeast section of Miskowitz. Inside, you'll find Martha. Engage her in conversation and inquire if she requires assistance. She'll express her need for someone skilled in blacksmithing. Respond with, “I’m a blacksmith! I’d be glad to help,” to initiate the side quest, “Hush, My Darling.”

If you haven’t already, consider speaking with the bailiff about Matthew, who is part of the Dry Devil’s group. Conveniently, the bailiff is standing right next to Martha, making it easy to find her using his marker.

Craft Horseshoes

You may already possess the necessary items for this task. You need two Farmer’s Horseshoes, which you might have crafted earlier to enhance your blacksmithing skills. If not, gather two pieces of Scrap Metal and head to the forge. Once you've crafted the horseshoes, return to Martha.

Find Victoria

Martha will inform you that the horseshoes are for Victoria, and you'll volunteer to deliver them, advancing the quest. Victoria's house is located a bit south of the forge. Upon arrival, you'll discover she's not there; instead, you'll find blood when you open the first door on the left.

Examine the blood when prompted during “Hush, My Darling” in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. After inspecting, return to Martha and report your findings. She'll suggest that you search for Victoria at Sigismund’s camp.

Sigismund’s Camp

Sigismund’s camp is located south of Opatowitz. If you're also seeking Matthew for the Dry Devil quest, you might encounter him on the path to the camp. At the camp, locate the blacksmith and inquire about Victoria. He'll mention that a soldier named Black took an interest in her. To find Black, head to the infirmary tent, where he's currently ill.

Black requires a Digestive Potion to treat his food poisoning before he'll assist you. If you don’t have one, craft it and return to administer it to him. You'll need to wait a couple of hours for the medicine to take effect before he's willing to talk.

Black will reveal that he said something to Victoria, suggesting she might have retreated into the woods to the east. Follow the quest marker on your map to find her sitting on a stump.

Engage Victoria in a conversation about her situation. Your dialogue choices here do not impact future events. However, if you managed to get Black to promise he'd look after Victoria, you can share this with her, offering her some hope for the future.

This conversation marks the completion of “Hush, My Darling” in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. From here, you can continue with the main quests or explore other side quests like “In Vino Veritas.”
