Charlie Cox's Daredevil has made a triumphant return from Netflix to the MCU, sparking speculation about potential comebacks for other members of The Defenders. Finn Jones, who portrayed Iron Fist, recently expressed his eagerness to reprise his role, stating at the LaConve anime convention in Monterrey, NL, Mexico, "I’m here and I’m ready."

Jones last donned the mantle of Danny Rand in Season 2 of the Iron Fist series on Netflix and in The Defenders, where he joined forces with Daredevil/Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter). Despite the lukewarm reception to his portrayal of Iron Fist, Jones remains hopeful about returning to the MCU.

The success of Daredevil's integration into the MCU has fueled optimism for the revival of The Defenders. Recent reports suggest Marvel is "exploring" the possibility, which has fans buzzing with excitement. At the convention, Jones addressed the criticism he faced, saying, "There is a willingness for the fans to see that happen. There’s a lot of willingness for the fans to see that not happen as well. I’m very aware of the critiques of the character and my role in it. My response to that is like, give me a f***ing chance, man. I’m here and I’m ready. I want to prove people wrong. So I would love to see that happen."

Daredevil: Born Again continues the story that began on Netflix, which had its own mini Marvel universe with shows like Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage. These series, along with The Defenders, are now officially part of the MCU canon, available on Disney+. Jon Bernthal's Punisher, once exclusive to Netflix, also makes an appearance in Daredevil: Born Again.
