Skate Console Playtesting Now Ongoing
Register Now For Beta Access And Exclusive Rewards
First announced in June 2020, Skate has been teasing fans with glimpses of what's to come. The wait is finally over as playtesting is now available on PlayStation and Xbox! While there's no confirmed date yet for the PC beta, you can still sign up as an Insider to stay in the loop.
According to the game's official X (formerly Twitter) account, console playtesting has been underway since at least December, and possibly as early as September, as shown in a highlight reel. Developer Full Circle is still actively encouraging fans to register for playtesting, as the game's development continues to progress.
To participate in the beta and get a taste of what Skate has to offer, simply head over to EA's official website and navigate to Skate's page. There, you can sign up for Skate Insider Playtesting. Not only will you get early access to the game, but Insiders will also receive exclusive rewards like an in-game skateboard and stickers upon the Early Access launch.
Skate is slated to hit Early Access in 2025, marking a significant milestone nearly a decade after Skate 3. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Set in the fictional city of San Vansterdam, Skate aims to be a free-to-play, live-service game that promises to deliver an "authentic evolution" of the beloved series, as shared by Full Circle in a previous interview on their YouTube channel.
