Dead Cells Launches Its Two Final Free Updates on Android

If you're a fan of Dead Cells, brace yourself because the era of free updates is drawing to a close! Since its launch in 2018, Dead Cells has been a treasure trove of new content, but all good things must end. Let's dive into what the final updates for Dead Cells Mobile have in store for Android players.

What’s in Store?

The last two updates, Clean Cut and The End is Near, are now available on Android, marking the end of new content for Dead Cells. While the game will still be playable, the developers have decided to cease further updates. These final updates, however, bring a thrilling twist with a bit of a cursed edge.

Among the highlights are four new weapons. You can now wield the giant Sewing Scissors and the Misericorde sword, which delivers massive critical damage to enemies with less than half health. But beware, if you don't finish them off, you'll be cursed. The Anathema, a heavy-ranged weapon, explodes on impact but curses you if it hits anything. And there's a new skill, Indulgence, which unleashes a beam of light for massive damage and can clear some of your curses.

These updates also introduce new modes like Speedrun and Boss Rush DIY, along with 40 new heads to customize your character. An NPC now allows you to swap these heads at your leisure.

New Mutations and Enemies Too

The final updates also introduce new mutations to enhance your gameplay. Cursed Flask lets you use your health flask without consuming a charge, while Damned Vigor gives you a few seconds to kill an enemy and save yourself from death. Demonic Strength boosts your damage when you're cursed, adding a strategic layer to your battles.

New enemies also join the fray. The Sore Loser sticks to you and curses you upon its demise. The Curser shoots guided cursed skulls and slashes at you if you get too close. And beware of the Doom Bringer, who can stack curses and potentially kill you outright if she reaches over 50 curses.

Don't miss out on these final updates for Dead Cells. Head over to the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in the last of the new content while it's still fresh.
