Marvel has unveiled the first trailer for its eagerly awaited Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again, featuring the return of Charlie Cox as the iconic Matt Murdock, reprising his role from the Netflix series. Set to premiere on March 4, the show brings back familiar faces such as Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, also known as Kingpin, and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, the relentless Punisher.
The trailer showcases a reunion of these central characters amidst intense and brutal action sequences. Daredevil, portrayed by Cox, is seen in peak form, engaging with the criminal underworld of New York City's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood in bone-crunching battles.
A unique plot twist in Daredevil: Born Again involves an unlikely alliance between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk as they confront a new and dangerous threat: the serial killer known as Muse. The trailer offers a chilling glimpse of Muse, identifiable by his striking bleeding eye white mask. Muse, a relatively new addition to Daredevil's adversaries, was crafted by Charles Soule and Ron Garney and first appeared in 2016's Daredevil #11.
Adding to the roster of returning villains, the trailer also introduces Wilson Bethel reprising his role as Bullseye, aka Benjamin Poindexter. Bethel, who previously portrayed Bullseye in Season 3 of the Netflix Daredevil series, appeared in 11 out of 13 episodes. His portrayal in Season 3 not only brought Bullseye into the Netflix Marvel Cinematic Universe but also offered a fresh and tragic origin story, enriching the character's depth since his initial debut in 1976's Daredevil #131. Fans are eager to see how Bullseye's narrative will evolve in this new series.
