Naughty Dog has reintroduced both critically acclaimed installments of The Last of Us series in a comprehensive bundle for PlayStation 5 (PS5), titled The Last of Us Complete. Known for creating iconic PlayStation franchises such as Crash Bandicoot and Uncharted, the studio released this dual-package collection today, combining the 2022 remake of The Last of Us Part 1 with the remastered version of The Last of Us Part 2.
Available starting July 10, The Last of Us Complete offers players the opportunity to experience the full narrative inspired by the HBO series, featuring enhanced graphics and gameplay mechanics optimized for PS5.
In addition to the core games, the bundle includes all bonus content released over the years, such as the Left Behind prequel DLC focusing on Ellie and additional content from The Last of Us Part 2, including No Return and Lost Levels. For fans of the HBO adaptation starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey who haven’t yet explored the original games, the digital package is priced at $99.99.
A physical Collector’s Edition will also be available on July 10 for $109.99, with pre-orders live now. This special edition features exclusive extras like a Steelbook case, game discs, the The Last of Us: American Dreams comics issues 1–4, four lithographic art prints, and a personalized thank-you note from Naughty Dog Head of Studio Neil Druckmann.
“Thank you for your unwavering support of The Last of Us and Naughty Dog,” Druckmann expressed in a recent PlayStation.Blog post. “It’s thrilling to see this franchise grow alongside our teams. Your heartfelt stories and stunning Photo Mode creations inspire us to keep crafting worlds you’ll cherish.”
Launched initially for PS3 in 2013, The Last of Us has seen multiple iterations, including a graphical upgrade for PS4 in 2014 and a remake for PS5 in 2022. Similarly, The Last of Us Part 2 received its remastered version earlier this year. Both games are also available on PC, with The Last of Us Part 1 launching last year and The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered arriving just last week.
With The Last of Us Complete, Naughty Dog consolidates all its post-apocalyptic storytelling into one definitive package, coinciding with the upcoming second season of HBO’s adaptation, premiering this weekend. A greenlight for Season 3 was announced just yesterday.
