The game's development has reached the gold standard, signaling that the main development is complete and barring any unforeseen issues, there will be no further delays. This milestone is a testament to the dedication of Firaxis Games in delivering a polished and engaging experience.
Looking ahead, *Civilization VII* is set to expand with exciting downloadable content (DLC). The first DLC, *Crossroads of the World*, will be released in two parts in March. In the first stage, players will command Great Britain and Carthage, and meet Ada Lovelace, a computer pioneer and new leader. Three weeks later, the second phase introduces Simon Bolivar as a leader, along with Bulgaria and Nepal as new civilizations.
Later in 2025, between April and September, the *Right to Rule* DLC will add two more leaders, four new civilizations, and natural wonders to the game, further enriching the *Civilization VII* experience.
Firaxis is committed to enhancing the game with new challenges and events. In March, players can look forward to new in-game events and the addition of natural wonders like the Bermuda Triangle and Everest, promising to keep the gameplay fresh and engaging.
