Pokémon Go enthusiasts, get ready for an exciting February Community Day scheduled for February 9th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. This event will spotlight two unique Pokémon: Karrablast and Shelmet. During the event, you'll have a higher chance of encountering these Pokémon in the wild, and if luck is on your side, you might even catch their Shiny variants.
The highlight of this Community Day is the evolution bonuses. Evolving Karrablast during the event or up until February 16th at 10:00 p.m. local time will grant you an Escavalier with the Charged Attack Razor Shell, which boasts a power of 35 in Trainer Battles and 55 in Gyms and Raids. Similarly, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe will yield an Accelgor equipped with the Charged Attack Energy Ball, delivering a powerful 90 in both Trainer Battles and Gyms and Raids.
Participating in the Special Research during the event will reward you with encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet, both featuring special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds. You'll also receive a Premium Battle Pass and a Rare Candy XL. Additionally, a Timed Research event will run for a week following the main event. By logging in during Community Day, you'll unlock tasks that offer more encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet, complete with their unique backgrounds.
