Nexon has launched a substantial Blue Archive update, advancing the compelling main storyline with Vol. 1 Foreclosure Task Force Chapter 3: Traces of a Dream - Part 2. This installment focuses on the Foreclosure Task Group confronting fresh obstacles while defending their academy from looming dangers.
The narrative continues following Kaiser Group's retreat. While immediate threats have subsided, unfinished business weighs heavily on the Foreclosure Task Force. Their ability to meet these new challenges and protect their institution remains uncertain.
A key feature of this update is Serika (Swimsuit), a 3-star Mystic-type student originally introduced during the Abydos Resort Restoration Task Force event. As a Dealer, Serika excels at attacking multiple enemies simultaneously within a circular radius, delivering a percentage-based damage output.
Serika proves particularly useful for progressing through the new story content. She joins returning characters including Chise, Izuna, Shiroko, Wakamo, Mimori, and Nonomi - all sporting their summer swimwear variations, offering seasonal fun despite colder weather.

The update also introduces Area 26 missions, available in Normal and Hard difficulties. The limited-time Foreclosure Task Force Midnight Meeting Guide Task (running through December) provides bonuses such as Abydos Student IDs and Recruitment Tickets. Additional achievements have been implemented for both main story progression and standard missions.
Completing the update is the Balancing Schale's Books mini-event with the General Student Council. By spending AP on missions and commissions, players can earn Financial Calculators exchangeable for rewards until December 17th.
