If you're a fan of the Alien universe, get ready for a thrilling update! Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part One: Evolved Edition is coming to both PC and PlayStation 5 on September 30, 2025. This new iteration doesn’t require a VR headset, making it accessible to a wider audience. The game promises even more intense Xenomorph encounters and upgraded visuals, ensuring an immersive experience.
You can wishlist the non-VR version today on Steam and PlayStation. Originally launched in December 2024 for PlayStation VR2 and PCVR via Steam, and later on Meta Quest 3 in February, this updated edition brings fresh excitement to the series.
Developed and published by Survios, the Evolved Edition offers two editions: the standard version priced at $29.99 and the Digital Deluxe edition for $39.99. Set between the events of the first Alien film and Aliens, the game follows Zula and her Synthetic companion, Davis 01, as they explore the eerie Castor’s Cradle research facility on the planet Purdan (LV-354). Expect plenty of action, suspense, and mystery.
IGN gave the VR version a solid 7/10, praising its potential while noting areas for improvement. The team behind the game will showcase the new edition at IGN Live next month.
Meanwhile, the Alien franchise continues to expand with the upcoming FX TV show Alien: Earth, a crossover with the Predator film Predator: Badlands, and rumors of Alien: Romulus 2. Fans can also look forward to Alien: Rogue Incursion - Part Two, currently in development.
