Sony has unveiled the exciting lineup for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog additions scheduled for May 2025, offering a diverse range of gaming experiences for its Extra and Premium subscribers. Announced via a detailed PlayStation.Blog post, this month's selection includes a total of nine new titles, set to be available starting May 20, catering to fans of various genres and gaming eras.
Headlining the May 2025 additions for PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers are several standout titles. The much-anticipated Sand Land, an action RPG based on the manga by Akira Toriyama, will be available on both PS4 and PS5. Other notable entries include Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition and the comprehensive S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy. The latter is getting an enhanced version for PS5, alongside PC and Xbox Series X | S, which is slated to launch on the same day. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original trilogy on consoles will receive the Enhanced Edition at no extra cost, though it remains uncertain if this benefit extends to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
For PlayStation Plus Premium members, the catalog expands with the addition of the classic sci-fi action game Battle Engine Aquila, playable on both PS4 and PS5. In this title, players take control of a versatile war vehicle capable of engaging enemies both in the air and on the ground.
