On the other hand, the premium Alienware Aurora 16X, boasting an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU and a GeForce RTX 5070 GPU with a 115W TGP, comes in at $2,299.99. Both models are set to begin shipping in mid-June. Additionally, there is an option for both laptops to be fitted with an RTX 5060 GPU, though these are currently available for pre-order with no confirmed shipping date, as the RTX 5060 has not yet been released.

Compared to the new Alienware Area-51 laptop, which starts at over $3,000, the Aurora models are significantly more affordable. They are also more portable, weighing up to 1.6 pounds less and being up to 30% thinner than a comparable Area-51 16-inch laptop. Given the current trends in Nvidia GPU pricing, as reported by Tom's Hardware, it's unlikely that prices will drop significantly in the near future.
