In the vast world of Baldur's Gate 3, the romance options are well-known and cherished by many players. Yet, hidden gems like the encounter with Naoise Nallinto at Sharess' Caress often go unnoticed. This fleeting romance occurs during a bustling part of the game, making it easy to miss. In this guide, we'll help you uncover where to find Naoise and how to engage in a romantic encounter with her.

Where to Find Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3

Visit Sharess' Caress in Act III:

To meet and romance Naoise, you need to progress to the early stages of Act III. As you journey towards Baldur's Gate, you'll pass through Wyrm's Crossing. Your initial visit to this area requires a meeting with Raphael at Sharess' Caress, a brothel located along the eastern side of the bridge leading into the city.

If you've already explored Wyrm's Crossing, you can fast-travel to the South Span of Wyrm's Crossing, which will take you directly to the entrance of Sharess' Caress.

Look for Nymph's Grotto:

Naoise can be found in the Nymph's Grotto, a special chamber on the second floor. Access this room by passing through the door to the outdoor area. The correct door is marked by a green light and ivy-covered walls. It's locked but can be easily opened with a lock-picking roll of 10 or higher.

How to Romance Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3

Interact with Naoise:

Once inside the Nymph's Grotto, approach the bed where you'll find Naoise with Jara, a Flaming Heart soldier, in an intimate moment. Jara will be displeased by your interruption, and as she speaks, a tadpole in her head will interact with yours. This leads to a confrontation about the Absolute, after which Jara transforms into a Mindflayer. Defeating her is necessary to proceed.

After the battle, Naoise turns her attention to you, expressing an unusual attraction to Mindflayers. Here are the dialogue choices we selected:

  • "Whoever you think I am, you're mistaken."

Upon defeating Jara, Naoise reveals her fascination with Mindflayers. Our dialogue continued with:

  • "Your client is dead. I thought you'd be more upset."

An Insight check reveals Naoise's readiness for romance. Continuing the conversation, we chose:

  • "That creature aroused you, didn't it?"

Avoiding judgmental responses, Naoise shares her anticipation for the Mindflayer but suggests another 'flavor' might do. We selected:

  • "What did you have in mind?"
  • "Close your eyes and listen."

This leads to a unique, mental romance scene where Naoise asks you to choose what you will be:

  • Revered
  • Contented
  • Powerful
  • Rich
  • I think we're done here.

Opting for "Contented" triggers a brief romance scene. After the encounter, Naoise loses interest in further interactions, stating she can offer 'rapture' only once. Notably, this encounter does not affect existing relationships, such as with Karlach, and other romanceable characters seem indifferent to it.

Shadowheart will grant the 'Carnal Rituals of Sharess' inspiration point following the encounter.

Successfully romancing Naoise rewards you with the Rapture boon, providing a passive 1d6 bonus to nearly all ability checks.
