It's hard to believe it's already been a year since Bluepoch Games launched their innovative 20th Century time-travel RPG, Reverse: 1999. The game is now celebrating its First Anniversary with the release of a significant update, Version 1.9, aptly titled 'Vereinsamt'—which means 'lonely' in German.
Reverse: 1999 First Anniversary Highlights
To kick off the celebrations, players can claim Semmelweis, a 6-star character, for free simply by logging in during the event period. Along with Semmelweis, players will receive 30 free pulls, adding to the excitement of the anniversary festivities.
Another highlight is the introduction of Lucy, a 6-star DPS character with a striking robot design inspired by the iconic film Metropolis. Despite her appearance, Lucy is an Awakened arcanist connected to the Watt steam engine prototype and driven by a passion for advancing scientific development. You can find Lucy on the limited banner 'Thoughts in Cylinder.'
Returning characters also join the party. Matilda, a 5-star character, is making a comeback, and Kakania, who debuted in Version 1.7, will be available again starting October 10th in the 'Observation into the Mirrors' banner. New Modes and Collaborations
The First Anniversary update introduces a thrilling new rogue-like mode called 'A Series of Dusks.' This mode allows players to earn Lorelei, a new 5-star character, along with a host of other rewards.
Exciting collaborations are also on the horizon. Discovery will bring new garments for Tooth Fairy and Getian, while KOI will collaborate with the game starting in October, offering special limited-edition merchandise.
Version 1.9 also introduces the game's first unique garment, 'Take Off! To the Future,' for Regulus, which comes with new Ultimates and additional features. Other characters like Jessica, Voyager, and Sonetto are also receiving stylish new garments.
