Pokemon Center Hiroshima is temporarily closing its doors in March 2025, reopening at a new location in April. A new Gyarados Plaza will also debut this March. Here's what you need to know:
Pokemon Center Hiroshima Relocation
New Gyarados-Themed Playground Opens
Pokemon Center Hiroshima, established in June 2015, will move from its current location on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building to the second floor of Ekie, the north exit of Hiroshima Station, around April 2025.
Simultaneously, the "Gyarados Plaza by Pokemon Center Hiroshima" will open on March 24, 2025, on the rooftop of Soramoa Plaza in the new Hiroshima Station building, Minamoa. This playground features large Gyarados-themed play equipment. Advance reservations will be required for playground use for a limited time after opening. Current hours of operation (until relocation): Monday - Sunday, 10:00 am - 7:30 pm.
Nationwide "Poke-lun TV" Event
To celebrate "Poke-lun TV" surpassing 1 million subscribers, a nationwide event is taking place at Pokemon Centers across Japan (including Hiroshima) before the closure. Fans can receive an exclusive sticker by providing a password found in a December 19, 2024, "Poke-lun TV" YouTube video.
Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa will also feature photo opportunities with the "Poke-lun TV" hosts (Takkun, Tokichan, Ha-chan, Tai-chan, and Riri-chan).
Event dates: January 17, 2025 - February 16, 2025. This event excludes Pokemon Stores, Pokemon Center Online, Pokemon Cafe, and Pikachu Sweets by Pokemon Cafe.
