The final day of the Six Invitational is always a highlight for Rainbow Six Siege fans, as Ubisoft traditionally unveils exciting new content. This year was no exception, with the introduction of Rauora, the latest attack operator hailing from New Zealand. Rauora brings a fresh dynamic to the game with her innovative DOM launcher, a bulletproof shield deployable exclusively in doorways. While it can be destroyed by explosives, the DOM launcher's unique feature is its trigger mechanism, which can be activated by any player. The time it takes for the shield to open varies significantly depending on the team: attackers can open it in just one second, whereas defenders must wait three seconds. This difference could prove pivotal, especially in tense situations where the defuser has been planted.

In addition to her groundbreaking gadget, Rauora introduces the Reaper MK2 to the Rainbow Six Siege arsenal. This fully automatic pistol comes equipped with a red dot sight and an enlarged magazine, offering players a new tactical option. For her primary weapons, Rauora can choose between the powerful M249 LMG or the precise 417 marksman rifle, catering to different playstyles.
Fans eager to try out Rauora won't have to wait long, as she will be available on the test servers starting next week. However, those playing on the live version of the game will need to be a bit more patient before they can experience her unique abilities firsthand.
