Minecraft Movie Gets Exclusive Popcorn Bucket

by Ethan Apr 19,2025

Remember themed popcorn buckets? Of course you do. Well, the upcoming Minecraft movie is joining the consumer trend with its own concessions novelties that will be available during its theatrical run. According to images posted by DiscussingFilm on X / Twitter, the Minecraft movie will feature a TNT box as its popcorn bucket, paired with a chicken jockey drink container. These unique items seem to be exclusive to Cinemark theaters in the United States. While other theaters' plans for Minecraft fans remain to be seen, these novelties add an exciting twist to the movie-going experience.

These Minecraft-themed novelties continue a trend that started with the virality of the R2-D2 popcorn bucket for 2019's Rise of Skywalker. This sparked a modern theatrical tradition that has been both fun and lucrative, encouraging moviegoers to enjoy the full cinema experience. If it keeps audiences coming to theaters, it's certainly a welcome addition.
