This event offers a novel way to compete, featuring a unique win condition, a special Sanctum location, and innovative snapping mechanics.
In the Sanctum Showdown mode of Marvel Snap, the traditional gameplay is transformed. Victory is awarded to the player who first reaches 16 points, rather than playing until the sixth turn. The central element is the Sanctum location, which grants the highest points each turn. Snapping mechanics are also revamped; starting from turn three, you can snap once per turn to boost the Sanctum's value by one point, ensuring a dynamic shift in momentum throughout the game.
Participating in a match requires one Scroll, with a win rewarding you with another, keeping the excitement flowing. You begin with 12 Scrolls and receive two additional Scrolls every eight hours. Should you deplete your Scrolls, you have the option to buy more for 40 Gold. Regardless of the match's outcome, your efforts contribute to your Sorcerer Rank and earn you Charms, which you can exchange in the Sanctum Shop for cosmetic items or new cards.
Are you strategizing with Captain Marvel or Dracula to gain an edge? Think again, as certain cards and locations are banned in this mode to ensure fair play. Abilities that affect the final outcome are disabled, and cards like Debrii are excluded to avoid one-sided strategies.
