During these three hours, Fuecoco will be appearing more frequently in the wild, making it the perfect time to gather as many as you can. From our experience, during Community Days, the featured Pokemon typically make up 80-to-90% of the spawns. This is your golden window to farm Candies, evolve, and power up Fuecoco's full evolution line for your competitive team.
Can Fuecoco Be Shiny in Pokemon GO?

Yes, you can encounter Shiny Fuecoco during the Community Day. The odds are significantly boosted to 1 in 25, compared to the usual 1 in 512 for regular encounters. This makes Community Days the best time to hunt for these rare, alternative-colored variants. While it's not guaranteed with every encounter, with enough persistence during the event, you're likely to find one.
Fuecoco’s Evolutions in Pokemon GO

Fuecoco evolves into Crocalor with 25 Candies and then into Skeledirge with 100 Candies. Both evolutions are already in the game, but the Community Day offers a unique chance to get a Skeledirge with an exclusive attack.
Skeledirge Featured Attack
If you evolve Fuecoco into Crocalor during the Community Day on March 8 or within the following week, the resulting Skeledirge will learn the Charged Attack, Blast Burn, which is not normally part of its moveset.
Torch Song Update
Additionally, Skeledirge will have the opportunity to learn Torch Song, a Charged Attack that not only deals damage but also boosts its Attack stat by one stage in Pokemon GO battles.

Community Day Event Bonuses
During the Fuecoco Community Day and until 10:00 PM on March 8, you'll benefit from the following bonuses:
- 300% Stardust when catching Pokemon
- Double the catch Candy
- Double the chance for Trainers Level 31+ to get XL Candy when catching Pokemon
- Lure Modules last for three hours instead of 30 minutes
- Incenses last for three hours instead of 60 minutes
- A "surprise" that occurs when you take snapshots
- Ability to conduct two Special Trades instead of one per day
- 50% less Stardust required for trades

To maximize your experience during the Fuecoco Community Day, stock up on Pinap Berries. They will double the Candy you receive per catch, and with the event's bonus, you'll go from three to six Candies per Fuecoco. Using a Pinap Berry can bump this up to 12 Candies per catch.
