Farlight 84 has just rolled out an exciting new expansion titled "Hi, Buddy!" that's available as of today. This update brings a host of new features to the game, including the innovative Buddy System, fresh events, and revamped maps, making the gameplay more engaging than ever.

The star attraction of the "Hi, Buddy!" expansion is the introduction of the Buddy System. These aren't your average pets; they're cute and cuddly companions that add a touch of charm to the otherwise intense battlefield. These Buddies not only enhance the aesthetic appeal but also provide valuable assistance during gameplay.
There are two categories of Buddies to explore: Common Buddies and Archon Buddies. Common Buddies, which include Buzzy, Morphdrake, Petal Peeper, Smokey, Snatchpaw, Squeaky, Sparky, and Zephy, are easier to capture and come with practical abilities. On the other hand, the rarer Archon Buddies—Time Dominator and Storm Empress—boast extraordinary powers. Time Dominator can shift the Safe Zone towards itself, while Storm Empress can summon a powerful tornado that lifts and damages enemies over time.
To acquire these Buddies, players will need to collect Buddy Orbs, which can be found scattered across the map. These Orbs are not only essential for capturing Buddies but can also store up to six tactical items, adding versatility to their use.

The expansion doesn't stop at Buddies. The Sunder Realms map has undergone a significant transformation, featuring new terrains, structures, and landmarks. Players can now enjoy sliding down ramps, taking cover in upgraded buildings, and spotting quirky additions like giant duck statues and floating boulders.
Another new feature is the Tactical Core system, where players can earn Trait points as they level up. These points allow you to enhance your hero's skills and unlock new abilities. To fully maximize these abilities, you'll need to collect Trait Activation Cards, so keep a lookout for them.
