In the gripping new game Expelled! from inkle, the creators of Overboard!, you find yourself in a precarious situation at Miss Mulligatawney's School for Promising Girls. A school prefect has been pushed out of a window, and you, Verity Amersham, a scholarship student, are the prime suspect. Set in the spring of 1922, you have just one day to clear your name or find another scapegoat before facing expulsion.

Voiced by the talented Amelia Tyler, known for her work in Baldur's Gate 3, Verity has always tried to steer clear of trouble. But now, accused of attempted murder, she must navigate a complex web of choices and consequences to prove her innocence. In Expelled!, your decisions are pivotal. Every action you take, every person you interact with, and every word you speak can drastically alter the course of the story.

The school's NPCs move in real-time, reacting to your actions and the unfolding events around them. Some may offer assistance, while others could be plotting your downfall. Trust is a luxury you can't afford to give freely. You have the option to solve the mystery through investigation, but you can also resort to deception, manipulation, or outright lying to secure your alibi or shift the blame.

Each playthrough of Expelled! lasts approximately 30-45 minutes, but no two runs will ever feel the same. Your choices unlock new paths, reveal hidden secrets, and lead to different outcomes. You might uncover why the cellar is locked or what your best friend is concealing. If you manage to avoid expulsion, you can even aim for the coveted position of Head Girl.

The game's atmosphere is further enriched by a jazz-infused soundtrack featuring legends like George Gershwin, Louis Armstrong, and Bessie Smith, blending a tense mystery with a dynamic, ever-evolving narrative. How you choose to clear your name, and the lengths you're willing to go, are entirely up to you.

Expelled! is set to launch on March 12th across Steam, Nintendo Switch, and iOS platforms.
