Pokémon GO enthusiasts, mark your calendars for the Sweet Discoveries event, where you'll have the chance to encounter the adorable Applin for the very first time in the game. Whether you're a collector or a shiny hunter, this event is a must-attend from April 24th at 10:00 a.m. to April 29th at 8:00 p.m. Applin, a unique Grass and Dragon-type Pokémon hailing from the Galar region, is the star of the show.
To evolve Applin into Flapple, you'll need 200 Applin Candies and 20 Tart Apples. If you're aiming for Appletun, gather the same amount of candies along with 20 Sweet Apples. And for the final evolution into Hydrapple via Dipplin, you'll follow a similar path. Keep an eye out for Tart Apples, Sweet Apples, and Applin itself in the wild, especially near Mossy Lure Modules, where your chances of encountering these items increase.
Did you know that Applin cleverly disguises itself as an apple to hide from its predators, bird Pokémon? This charming strategy makes Applin one of the cutest Pokémon in the entire roster of Pokémon GO.
During the Sweet Discoveries event, don't miss out on the new avatar items available in the shop, including the Applin Headband and Applin Apron. Plus, enjoy the event bonuses, such as earning 2× Candy for every Pokémon you catch.
Your chances of encountering Shiny Delibird and Shiny Skwovet in the wild will be higher during the event. Also, keep an eye on your 7 km Eggs, as you're more likely to hatch Shiny Delibird, Shiny Cherubi, and Shiny Skwovet. And if you catch a Delibird or Skwovet, they'll drop berries, adding a sweet touch to your adventure.
Make sure you have Pokémon GO installed from the Google Play Store to join in on the fun. And while you're at it, check out our news on Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7 'Bury Your Tears with the Past' for more exciting updates in the gaming world.
