Today, Nintendo announced exciting news for Animal Crossing fans following the earlier decision to shut down the online version of the game. The much-anticipated paid offline version, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete, is set to launch on Android on December 3rd. This new version promises to be a comprehensive and reimagined experience of the beloved game.
The current free-to-play version of Pocket Camp will cease operations on November 29th. In contrast, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete offers a one-time purchase model. Priced at $9.99 until January 31st, 2025, it will increase to $19.99 thereafter. This complete pack includes all the seasonal items, events, and other content accumulated since the game's initial release in 2017. Players can still enjoy the fun of setting up their dream campsite with over 10,000 items to choose from.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete introduces exciting new features. One highlight is the ability to create personalized Camper Cards. These act as your unique trading cards, where you can choose a pose and color to showcase your style. Additionally, you can exchange these cards with other players. Another new addition is the Whistle Pass, a social hangout spot where you and your Camper Card friends can enjoy guitar jams under the stars. Moreover, Nintendo has enabled the transfer of your existing Pocket Camp save data to the new version, with a deadline of June 2nd, 2025.
Despite being an offline game, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete will require occasional internet checks to verify time and account information. Nintendo is also keeping all the seasonal events, ensuring players can still enjoy the Halloween spookiness and summer festivals.
