Description

A simple, non-field RPG where you, the village's best hunter, must escape a cursed forest. The prologue sets the scene: you've journeyed to a hunting tournament, only to find the forest eerily deserted. Your sense of direction, usually impeccable, fails you, leading you to suspect something is amiss.

The : Aided by a mysterious quarter-elf, you'll navigate this cursed forest using a streamlined, intuitive interface. The game utilizes a maximum of three buttons at any given time, except for the main menu.

Character Creation: While character customization is limited, you can freely reroll your stats before starting. Stat increases upon leveling up are only visible on the character creation screen, serving as a reminder of your build. Losing all life force means game over, and having less than two "talismans" will also impact your survival.

Foria, the Peddler Quarter-Elf: This enigmatic child-like figure secretly assists you using the forest's ancient spirits. Their involvement is key to your escape.

Gameplay: The story unfolds smoothly, reminiscent of a visual novel. Foria's dialogue adds a cheerful counterpoint to the game's generally quiet and evocative atmosphere. Exploration involves uncovering unexplored areas within sections of the forest, with the difficulty influenced by factors like "fog depth" and your character's stats. Running out of life force necessitates the use of poison or rare "talismans," and potentially a return to Foria.

Beast Encounters & Hunter Battles: Wild creatures, from wolves to surprisingly aggressive frogs and rabbits, inhabit the forest. Defeating them yields materials for trading with Foria. Unlike typical RPGs, there's no leveling up through combat. Battles are avoidable, though this requires skill, luck, and strategic timing. As a hunter, you use a bow and arrow, maintaining distance for safe attacks. Closing the distance risks a one-sided attack, forcing you to either retreat or use a "flash" ball provided by Foria.

The Cloak System: You can craft a cloak using gathered materials, layering up to three for stat boosts. The cloak is the only equipment you can modify, and it's subject to wear and tear.

Game Features: This RPG emphasizes strategic choices, resource management (synthesis and alchemy), and thoughtful preparation. It's a game about the journey, not just the destination, offering a relaxing yet challenging experience.

Auto-Save: The game features an auto-save system, though it's not always consistent (e.g., not during battles). Saving your progress is recommended via the base menu.
