This app, PleIQ, enhances early childhood education (ages 6-9) using augmented reality (AR) to improve handwriting skills. It complements the Caligrafix Calligraphy Line books, offering interactive exercises designed to develop legible, fluent, proportional, and organized writing.
PleIQ works with the following Caligrafix books:
- Calligraphy for 1st grade - 1st semester (age 6)
- Calligraphy for 1st grade - 2nd semester (age 6)
- Calligraphy for 2nd grade (age 7)
- Calligraphy for 3rd grade (age 8)
- Calligraphy for 4th grade (age 9)
The app's activities are sequenced according to the learning objectives of each grade level, aligning with Language and Communication curriculum standards. Four writing formats are included to support diverse learning styles and motor skills.
