At first glance, you might think Palworld is just another open-world monster-catching game. But this indie title surprises with its diverse mechanics, from realistic guns to highly optimized farming systems. One of the more intriguing aspects is the ability to farm crops within the game.
In Palworld, you can set up various plantation buildings to grow a range of crops like berries, tomatoes, lettuce, and more. While unlocking these structures from the Technology tab is straightforward—just level up and spend Technology Points—finding the right seeds can be a bit tricky. This guide will walk you through how to obtain every type of seed in Palworld.
1How To Get Berry Seeds In Palworld
You can buy Berry Seeds from Wandering Merchants scattered throughout the Palpagos Islands. For just 50 Gold, you can find them at these locations:
- 433, -271: East of Marsh Island Church Ruins
- 71, -472: Small Settlement
- -188, -601: South of Small Cove fast travel point in Sea Breeze Archipelago
- -397, 18: East of Forgotten Island Church Ruins
Pals That Drop Berry Seeds
Another way to get Berry Seeds is by capturing or defeating certain Pals. Both Lifmunk and Gumoss are guaranteed to drop Berry Seeds when defeated. These common Pals can be found on Marsh Island, Forgotten Island, and near Desolate Church and Fort Ruins.
Once you have the Berry Seeds, you can plant them in Berry Plantations, which become available at level 5.
How To Get Wheat Seeds In Palworld
At level 15, you can unlock the Wheat Plantation, but first, you'll need Wheat Seeds. These can be purchased from select Wandering Merchants for 100 Gold at the following coordinates:
- 71, -472: Small Settlement
- 433, -271: East of Marsh Island Church Ruins
- -188, -601: South of Small Cove fast travel point in Sea Breeze Archipelago
- -397, 18: East of Forgotten Island Church Ruins
Pals That Drop Wheat Seeds
If you'd rather not spend your gold, you can hunt for Flopie or Bristla, which are guaranteed to drop Wheat Seeds when captured or defeated. You might also get Wheat Seeds from Robinquill, Robinquill Terra, and occasionally Cinnamoth.
How To Get Tomato Seeds In Palworld
Unlock the Tomato Plantation at level 21 and start your search for Tomato Seeds. You can buy them for 200 Gold from Merchant Pals at these locations:
- 343, 362: Duneshelter in Desiccated Desert
- -471, -747: Fisherman's Point located south of Mount Obsidian
Pals That Drop Tomato Seeds
For a more adventurous approach, target Wumpo Botan, a rare Pal found on Wildlife Sanctuary No. 2 and as an Alpha Pal on Eastern Wild Island, for a guaranteed drop of Tomato Seeds. You also have a 50% chance of obtaining them from Dinossom Lux, Mossanda, Broncherry, and Vaelet.
How To Get Lettuce Seeds In Palworld
At level 25, you can unlock the Lettuce Plantation. Lettuce Seeds are available from the same Wandering Merchants selling Tomato Seeds for 200 Gold at these coordinates:
- 343, 362: Duneshelter in Desiccated Desert
- -471, -747: Fisherman's Point located south of Mount Obsidian
Pals That Drop Lettuce Seeds
You can also get Lettuce Seeds by defeating or capturing Wumpo Botan for a guaranteed drop. Alternatively, hunt Broncherry Aqua and Bristla for a 50% chance, while Cinnamoth has a lower drop rate.
How To Get Potato Seeds In Palworld
With the Palworld Feybreak update, Potato Seeds became available. Unlock Potato Plantation at Technology level 29. You have a 50% chance of getting Potato Seeds from the following Pals:
- Flopie
- Robinquill
- Robinquill Terra
- Broncherry
- Broncherry Aqua
- Ribbuny Botan
Flopie and Robinquill are common on Moonshore Island. Teleport to Mount Flopie Summit and head south to find them.
How To Get Carrot Seeds In Palworld
At level 32, unlock the Carrot Plantation to start farming carrots for dishes like French Fries, Mammorest Curry, and Galeclaw Nikujaga. The following Pals have a 50% chance of dropping Carrot Seeds:
- Dinossom
- Dinossom Lux
- Bristla
- Wumpo Botan
- Prunelia
If you haven't reached the faraway islands, fight Bristla on Moonshore Island or Dinossom in Windswept Hills. For those on Feybreak Island, farm Prunelia, commonly found across the red hills.
2How To Get Onion Seeds In Palworld
At level 36, unlock the Onion Plantation for farming onions, crucial for Pal Research and cooking. Onion Seeds are needed for certain upgrades in the Pal Labor Research Laboratory, requiring 100–300 onions. Defeat these Pals to obtain Onion Seeds:
- Cinnamoth
- Vaelet
- Mossanda
Vaelet is a rare Pal found on Wildlife Sanctuary No. 1 and as an Alpha Pal boss, but you can more easily find Cinnamoths on Moonshore Island or Mossandas in Verdant Brook.
Most of these Pals are Grass types, making them weak to Fire attacks. Use Katress Ignis and Blazehowl for better drop rates. Blazehowl is common on the east side of Mount Obsidian, and you can breed Katress Ignis by pairing Katress with Wixen.
