Fans of *Star Wars Jedi: Survivor* were thrilled to see new figures included in this latest wave of Star Wars toys. Nightsister Merrin received a new figure, and the protagonist, Cal Kestis, is featured in a three-pack alongside Turgle and Skoova Stev. Notably, Cal's figure comes with multiple interchangeable heads, including one sporting a handlebar mustache. Jing Houle shared that this particular look was a focal point for the release.

"We just wanted to have fun with it," Houle explained to IGN. "This is one of my favorite packs we showcased at the panel. We started with the handlebar mustache and mullet, then added the clean-cut and short beard later. For us, the primary look is almost the handlebar, and it's just so much fun."

As for Merrin, her inclusion was a natural choice given her significance in the *Fallen Order/Survivor* narrative. The challenge, according to Chris Reiff, lay in accurately capturing her unique Force abilities.

"It's tough to have Cal without Merrin," Reiff noted. "We're thrilled to finally bring her to life, but capturing that Force effect—the green blast—and the intricate details of her new costume and face tattoos with inkjet printing was challenging. There's some beautiful subtlety there. She's a character fans are deeply invested in, and we're excited to expand that world."

This year's lineup also features fan-favorites Han Solo and Chewbacca. Despite numerous previous releases, Jing Houle emphasized the potential for improvement.

"It's been a while since we've updated them," Houle said. "They needed a refresh, so we created entirely new tools, incorporating the latest articulation technology. Fans can now celebrate these classic characters with updated figures. We've also learned a lot from our previous Wookiee figures, especially regarding their long hair."

Houle elaborated, "Despite the long hair, we used softer plastics to allow Chewbacca to pivot and move his head smoothly. For Han, we added articulation to the top of his boot instead of a thigh break to keep the red bars on his right thigh intact. Maintaining that clean look was crucial."

Among the standout figures is The Ronin from the *Star Wars: Visions* anime anthology series. As a black-and-white figure with a red katana lightsaber, The Ronin's design stayed true to the series. Being a Celebration-exclusive release, both Houle and Reiff focused on perfecting the details.

"We kept it authentic," Houle said. "We drew from our understanding of Japanese culture to craft a premium package, complete with magnetic closures and hidden accessories. The watercoloring and overall design are meticulously crafted."

Reiff added, "We even used Japanese language for the exclusive packaging, something we typically don't do. Given that we're in Japan, we wanted to fully embrace the culture and create a special, entirely Japanese-language package."

Finally, Hasbro also revealed a new addition to the 1:1 scale Black Series helmet line with a highly detailed Death Trooper helmet.

"It's a brand-new tooled helmet for the Black Series Premium roleplay line," Reiff stated. "It looks like it's straight out of the movie with its weathering and lighting details. You can control the chin lights and the spectre sensor lights with a button on the side. Working with Lucasfilm, we used original files to capture all the helmet's details accurately, adding our own touches to the interior, which the real ones never had."
