The New Denpa Men has officially made its way to Android devices, following its initial release on the Nintendo Switch in July 2024. Developed and published by Genius Sonority, this quirky RPG brings a few notable differences between its mobile and Switch versions.
Now You Can Take Your Quirky Little Denpa Crew on the Go!
One of the most exciting features of The New Denpa Men on Android is its support for cross-platform play. If you've already invested time in catching and battling Denpa Men on your Switch, you can seamlessly transfer your progress to your mobile device and continue your adventure wherever you go.
The Android (and iOS) version introduces a unique feature called QR Catch, allowing you to scan nearby QR codes to add Denpa Men to your team. This replaces the Normal Catch feature found on the Switch. However, some features from the Switch version, such as Together Catch and Offline Catch, are not available on mobile.
Another exciting addition to the Android version is the Voucher Collection feature. After battles, monsters drop vouchers called Akashi at random. Collecting these vouchers helps you complete your collection, and they can be gifted to friends or used in battles to enhance your gameplay experience.
There's also a fun twist with scarecrows in the mobile version. You can summon monsters using them, and these summoned creatures will join your team, attacking enemies and healing your party members. Don't miss out on the game's trailer below to see these features in action.
Will You Catch The New Denpa Men on Android?
The Denpa Men are peculiar creatures that float invisibly in the airwaves. Your mission in the game is to catch them, train them, and embark on thrilling adventures. The game offers a mix of dungeon-crawling, island decoration, interaction with your Denpa Men, fishing, and exploration of various event-based and extra stages that evolve over time.
You can download The New Denpa Men from the Google Play Store. The game primarily uses touchscreen controls, but you also have the option to use a controller for a more traditional gaming experience.
