What is the anime "Haikyu!!"?
"Haikyu!!" is an animated series inspired by Haruichi Furudate's youth sports manga, which has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) since 2012. Set in the world of high school volleyball, the story follows Karasuno High School, once dubbed the "fallen powerhouse, flightless crow," as they strive to reclaim their position at the top.
The series captures the passion and intensity of volleyball through the eyes of the protagonist, Shoyo Hinata, and a cast of unique characters. In August 2022, fans were thrilled to learn about the upcoming two-part theatrical sequel to the anime.
