William Afton, also known as Purple Guy, finds himself compelled by the Puppet to navigate a daunting labyrinth. This maze is a complex network of corridors and intersections where Afton must search for and collect drawings. These are the poignant artworks that children once hung on the walls of the iconic pizzeria.
The Puppet's sinister plan is to force Afton to retrieve these drawings, thereby resurfacing all the memories that have been stripped away. By erasing Afton's memories completely, the Puppet ensures he feels even more lost and terrified within the labyrinth.
Afton's challenge is to gather all the drawings before time expires, a countdown that is displayed on the clocks adorning the walls. Unlike the typical night watchman's shift from 12 AM to 6 AM, these clocks run backwards, from 6 AM to 12 AM. Should Afton fail to collect all the drawings in time, he will be immobilized, unable to move but still capable of looking around.
Why? Because at the stroke of 12 AM, Springtrap will enter the labyrinth, hunting for Afton. In his paralyzed state, Afton won't be able to move or anticipate from which direction Springtrap will approach.
Hurry, explore the maze, stay on course, and find all the drawings! But beware, you may also encounter the Puppet within the corridors! Remember, there are NO escape routes.
