What is the Project About?

Let's be honest, the story is cliché. But that's not why we play Monster Hunter, right? The protagonist finally speaks, but the dialogue feels…AI-generated. We endure this for six chapters.

The real draw? The thrilling monster hunts! The protagonist (male or female) explores uncharted lands, spurred by the discovery of a child, Nata, sole survivor of a tribe attacked by the "White Ghost."

While the story is more structured than previous entries, it's still not the focus. The game's linearity can feel restrictive after about ten hours.

The campaign takes 15-20 hours. For hunt-focused players, the story might feel like a hurdle. Thankfully, most cutscenes are skippable.

Hunting is streamlined. Visible wounds appear on monsters; destroying them yields massive damage and drops. Collected parts are automatically added to your inventory—a welcome simplification.
New rideable pets, like Seikret, offer a significant boost. Seikret automatically speeds to targets, and even revives you quickly if downed, eliminating lengthy recovery animations. This is a huge advantage, especially in tight situations.

Seikret also handles navigation, eliminating constant map checks. Fast travel to camp is also readily available.

While monster health bars are absent, Seikret provides helpful status updates. Monsters utilize the environment strategically, and pack attacks are common. However, you can always call for backup (NPCs or players) even in solo mode.

For added challenge, consider mods.
