Lovecraftian Puzzle Adventure

In today's saturated gaming market, finding a truly unique title can be a challenge. My Father Lied, however, stands out with its compelling narrative and intriguing gameplay. This mystery/Lovecraftian puzzle adventure offers a captivating story that sets it apart from the crowd.

My Father Lied: An Indie Developer's Vision

The game's creation story is fascinating. Ahmed Alameen, the developer, initially pursued a career in writing and filmmaking. A collaborative game project with a college friend ultimately fell through, but the core story concept remained. Alameen, driven by his vision, independently mastered 3D modeling and Unreal Engine, bringing his idea to life. Even the game's title resulted from a collaborative brainstorming session with his wife.

Unraveling the Mystery: The Game's Narrative

My Father Lied plunges players into a captivating mystery steeped in ancient Mesopotamian myths, secrets, puzzles, and unexpected twists. Players assume the role of Huda, a young woman grappling with a twenty-year-old enigma: the disappearance of her father. The truth, as the story unfolds, proves far more complex than she could have imagined.

Drawing inspiration from 7,000 years of Mesopotamian culture, the game seamlessly blends ancient lore with modern storytelling. The intuitive point-and-click interface, coupled with stunning 2D visuals and immersive 360-degree images, enhances the gameplay experience.
