To unlock animals for your Hideout, interact with different breeds of cats and dogs throughout your adventures. Whenever Naoe or Yasuke pets a cat or dog for the first time, that specific breed becomes available for your Hideout. You can encounter various dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens, including the special stray from the pre-order DLC quest “Thrown to the Dogs.”
