Launched in 2016, the "Road Guardians – Our Shared Road" initiative aims to raise awareness and deter unsafe driving practices. Since January 1, 2023, the project has been managed by the "Safe Path" association.
Anyone over 18 can download the Road Guardians app and start reporting traffic violations.
Using the app is quick and simple: activate it before driving and, upon witnessing a violation, initiate the reporting function. This can be done via voice command or by pressing a Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will automatically begin recording video and audio evidence.
This evidence is then transmitted to a control center staffed by experienced volunteer traffic monitors. Following review, a "letter on the way" is sent to the driver, including a link to the recorded footage. In cases involving serious safety risks, reports are immediately forwarded to law enforcement.
